Oliver Brown Opens in Cambridge

This spring, Oliver Brown will open a new store in Cambridge, bringing our tailoring house to one of Britain’s most historic and distinctive cities. The store will open on 1 April 2026 at 5 Green Street, a location long associated with independent shops and traditional menswear.

Cambridge is a city where tradition still shapes the rhythm of the year. From May Balls and formal halls to graduations, weddings and alumni gatherings, there are few places in the country where formal dress remains such a visible part of life. It is this sense of occasion that makes Cambridge feel like a natural home for Oliver Brown.

For more than twenty five years we have focused on clothing for life’s more significant moments. Our collections include ready to wear tailoring, made to measure suits and formalwear hire, designed to bring a modern spirit to classic British dress. The Cambridge store will bring these services together, offering a place for customers to prepare for the events that define the city’s social calendar.

Green Street has long been one of Cambridge’s most recognisable addresses and we are delighted to be joining the neighbourhood. The store will offer a relaxed space to explore our collections, whether selecting a suit from the ready to wear range, commissioning a made to measure garment or arranging formalwear for an upcoming event.

Cambridge also sits a short journey from Newmarket, the historic centre of British horse racing. Racing has always been part of Oliver Brown’s story, reflected in our connection to race day dress and our reputation as The Racing Tailors. With Newmarket so close by, the new store will also serve those preparing for the racing calendar, from morning wear to antique top hats.
