Antique Silk Top Hat
Larger sizes are rare and priced accordingly - See below for details
When the sole factory producing silk plush closed in 1968, no more could ever be made, giving surviving examples their extraordinary rarity and desirability. Oliver Brown holds the world's largest collection of these remarkable hats, renowned for their unrivalled shine, shape, and featherlight feel that no modern material has been able to replicate. Each hat comes with a complimentary top hat box and velvet polishing pad. Due to their rarity, hats in pristine condition or larger sizes command higher prices. For sizes above 7 ⅝" (62cm), a store visit is recommended. A personal fitting service is also available - call 07768 395285 to arrange for our top hat expert to come to you.
