From Canvas to Cloth: Autumn/Winter 25

For our Autumn Winter 25 Collection, we return to the country. ‘A Field Day’ is inspired by the quiet elegance of the British landscape, designed for the man who moves effortlessly between the city and field. This led us to the Alfred de Breanski Snr’s Glencoe - a 19th century painting of the Scottish Highlands, and the collection’s true inspiration.

Bréanski was known for capturing the drama and stillness of the British landscape, most notably for his romantic visions of the Highlands in the late 19th century. His works often captured Scotland’s mountains and lochs under shifting skies, balancing rugged detail with a softness of light. Beyond the Highlands, he also painted many views of the Thames, with his work exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Cambrian Academy.

In Glencoe there’s a rare balance: mist rolling across hills, bracken turning to gold, light breaking over water. It’s a scene both fleeting and eternal - and it became our starting point for the colour, texture, and mood of the collection.

The palette of our AW25 collection takes its cue from the Highlands in particular. The Misty Grey carries the softness of early morning fog; the Heather Mauve mirrors the highland blooms brushing against stone paths; the Loch Blue reflects the shifting waters under a restless sky; while the Bracken Gold brings the warmth of autumn fields. Each tone translates into something wearable, bringing the landscape’s natural beauty into everyday life.

“I was immediately drawn to the tones in the landscape, those muted purples, stormy greys, and that incredible bracken gold. There was a softness to it all, but also this real depth and mood. I knew right away it was the starting point for our Autumn palette.” - Angelina, Buying & Merchandising Manager.

Those tones find new life in heritage fabrics - tweeds and dogtooth checks, flannels brushed for softness, moss green loden, and deep brown Drago wool. Raglan overcoats and quilted gilets layer effortlessly, while cashmere knits and cotton needlecord bring warmth and tactility. The silhouettes are relaxed, fluid, and modern, that suit both urban and rural life.

From canvas to cloth, our Autumn/Winter 2025 is an invitation to step into a landscape reimagined - where colour, texture and atmosphere become part of the everyday life. We invite you to shop the collection here
