Expertly tailored from 100% wool flannel, these trousers highlight the enduring appeal of classic tailoring. Known for its rich colour and tight weave, the cloth lends both depth and durability. The trousers are half-lined for comfort and feature a pleated front, slanted hip pockets, and an extended waistband with two hooks. Finished with brace buttons and side adjusters, they are a versatile choice for both city and country wear.
The fabric itself dates back to the early 1900s and is woven from a blend of worsted Merino yarns and fine Cheviot woolen-spun yarns. The result is a light yet robust tweed, ideal for medium-weight daywear. Known as Teviot, this cloth weighs 13/14 oz (430 g/m²) and has long been prized for its balance of resilience and refined character.
